At the end of March, Dave Hadfield, Mary Daly, and I were preparing for our 2014 AMAROK Annual Spring Meeting in Las Vegas and had the idea of taking individual AMAROK Members and Supplier photos to compliment the “We are AD / AMAROK” photo campaign from last year. As we discussed this idea, it was clear that taking photos of nearly 100 Members as they registered and another possible 100 Supplier photos was going to take a lot of time and energy to accomplish. Also, as we all know, many folks don’t always enjoy having their individual photos taken so this task would take a great deal of patience, convincing, and understanding for each and every one to get involved. The AMAROK Team was covered up with meeting preparations, commitments, functions, etc. and the great Event Partners staff was also deep into their work to ensure another successful meeting.
Who was going to help out and what personality could handle this tedious task? We agreed that Stephanie Santangelo, our Office Administrator, who handles everyone so professionally and wonderfully as you enter AD Wayne’s offices, would be a great choice for this task. Stephanie always makes you feel like she cares and always extends a helping hand to anyone who asks or may need it. All these great accolades for Stephanie and her tenure at AD is only five months!
How did it go in Vegas? Well, I am proud to report that the AMAROK Annual Spring Meeting was a huge success with a record turnout and Stephanie’s contributions were incredible. Her task of taking individual photos was perfectly accomplished but we received much more than just photos from her. With the strong increase in attendance we all realized quickly that having Stephanie as an AMAROK Team Player was not optional but necessary to help with our Face-to-Face meetings, our Banquet Dinner preparations, meeting timing coordination, and just about everything else our Team was working through. Her attention to detail and making sure our Members were taken care of was primary and evident during our entire meeting.
Many Members and Suppliers thanked me for the great job our Team did and many singled out Stephanie for her great attitude and willingness to help. I want to thank and recognize Stephanie Santangelo for all her contributions to make our Spring Meeting a huge success and thank Mary Stamm for mentoring Stephanie to understand what AMAROK’s meeting details and needs would be in Las Vegas.
Stephanie truly cares and made an incredible contribution to the success of AMAROK’s Las Vegas Meeting. Many Members and Suppliers asked if we would see her at future meetings. We are and would be proud to have Stephanie join Team AMAROK at any future meetings and feel confident she will add value to all she attends. Stephanie really exemplified "Serve Others" one of AD’s values.

We just wanted to send you a quick message in regards to the hockey game later today.
Yesterday’s game between the USA and Canadian women’s hockey teams was an amazing match! We hope that today’s game proves to be just as exciting as yesterdays.
Despite any tension and rivalry between our two countries that may come up during the Olympics, we want to assure all of you that We Are AD.
Also – please see the picture above with Greg and Ardit, visiting us from the USA office, with Jim the president of the Canadian division.
This picture of everyone smiling was taken moments after the USA and Canada hockey game yesterday. Notice the big smiles brandished by Ardit and Greg, also notice the flag Ardit is waving proudly. (This photo was not altered in any way – and these two were fully aware of what this picture would be used for).
With Kind Regards,
The AD Canada Office

Did you know there were 5 babies born to AD staffers this summer?
Here is my boy, Abe, in his first Phillies gear.
And for anyone out there reading our Tumblr blog. I promise to be better at posting. I am not going to say that pregnancy, birth and maternity leave is an excuse… but well… I guess I am saying… I will do better now!
The Industrial Supply Division is hosting their Supplier Advisory Council at the AD HQ tomorrow so the very creative Jill Clayton (EA to the Industrial Supply Division) created some fun gift bags for our visitors. Each gift bag includes some of the Philly favorites, plus a brochure that explains each of the items. Do you know what shoe fly pie is? She even hand cut and glued each logo on every bag! Can you spot all the Philly favs? Love the creativity Jill showed on this!
